I love the lying down. It makes me think of Wendell Berry’s The Peace of Wild Things when he lies down ‘where the wood drake rests in his beauty on the water and the great heron feeds’. Beautiful, Bethany.
I was thinking about that poem as I lay there, so close to the herons' domain!
